Also called sweet peppers or capsicums, bell peppers have a mild, sweet flavor and crisp juicy flesh. The yellow and orange varieties are sweeter than their green cousins, and the red are sweetest of all.
Like most veggies, Bell Peppers retain the highest nutritional content when eaten raw, but are also a favorite when stuffed, added to sauces, or stir fried.
Store Bell Peppers in a refrigerator in a plastic bag to preserve freshness.
